relaced ox and maf
hi
I just spent 900 to get the ox and the mass air flow sensor replaced,
they also replaced the right side valve gasket (oil leak).
Costs about half labor.
It acted the same as it was for about 150 miles.
It took a lot not to go to the dealer (ready to kill).
At 280 miles (30 at 30 mph) It has started acting normal. (2 days)
Question is this normal, is the problem fixed.
the power still is low.
Can anyone tell me where to find info.
For us dummies it would be nice to be able to look up, maf or whatever
sensors, and understand what it is, and what its function is,
and what to expect when you replace it.

Wow I hope it is fixed for that kind of money. they sure did not cut you any slack that is for sure. if it is running good then fine but if not I would go back and have them check it. dont let the charge you any more. do a search here and you will find everything you ever wanted to know about MAF. and next time you have a problam post it here first and let us try to help you free you have nothing to lose. and only money to gain.
