finally bought this truck from my Uncle 105k 302 auto XLT Lariat. 95% orginal paint..you can see the right door has been painted. the rest is original. the interior is just as nice. goin to paint it in the spring.
It's not mine, but it's my Dad's and he's owned it since 1971 and I was with him on the day he picked it up when I was a little kid (around 7-8 years old)..
1971 F250 "Custom" with the Camper Special suspension. 390, C6, power brakes and that's about it..
It's on it's 3rd 390. 2nd C6 and he's freshened up the interior and the paint recently. Got new wheels and tires too, since the original 16.5 split rim wheels, tires and inner tubes were shot and just for the 16.5" tires alone, would have cost more than the full set (including the spare tire) that he ended up with.

It seems most parts are avaible ffor it. new fenders box parts. Have already ordered cab corners, Taken the box and rear fenders off and have started cleaning the frame.
getting slowly started on it as time permits.
Have done a lot in the last 1.5 years.
Dana 60 rear axle with 355 gears
2006 crown vick interceptor ifs front end.
lots of welding cab corners both inner and out, cowel corners , both rocker panels, around the back window. frame was cracked so both side at the front cab mounts have been welded.
last year I installed complete new brake lines,new power brake conversion, front callipers.
going in this winter is a new gm style 12 volt electrical harness, 12 volt wipers, all new glass, replacing the gas tank,
found a good used low mile fe 390 and a rebuilt c6 getting it next week.
a good used chrome flaming river steering column.
This is my 1996 F150 Eddie Bauer edition. It was given to me by my cousin before he passed away last August. I promised to take care of it and keep it in the family. I've done a few things to it but far from finished!
