Thanks, though I don't plan on taking the cover off the back end anytime soon. It keeps my sub's free from water, as well as keeping the first aid kits, and my big metal box O' side of the road repair kit all nice and safe. Plus after putting carpeting back there, the thought of it getting moldy and soggy just depresses me. I like the look with the shell in the back, took it off when I first got it, but I decided to keep it on, just didn't look right. As for the lift it was a Tuff Country 6" and although it has no formal leveling kit, the kit did end up lifting the rear less than the front, effectively leveling it overall. Didn't take a very good picture to actually see the lift part, was mostly my GF taking pictures and I figured I would throw them up here for now.

Are you planning on a leveling kit for yours?

if they made one I would... I really think it needs it b/c back has a big gap compared to front. I don't know or cant find one for 96 f150 2wd single cab short bed. or just 96 2wd. :\ your truck is really really good looking. I don't personally like the look of all the crap like lights on top.. roll bar... huge grille guard with super winch... back bumper... chrome this.. black light covers on that... super big stickers saying ford... I like stock look with lift and tires.. not a bunch of crap :P but yours looks really tight, thats why I wanted to see a pic with the back off what it would look like in truck form not bronco and your front grille guard thing is not too much since its small. great truck man.

Very nice truck Kety, looks like a great starting point for some customization.

Hey buzz, I know I talked to a few people before I did my lift and leveling kits were definitely an option. I would call a few of your local people and see if they have any and when it comes to drive train stuff I always let them install for that warranty, otherwise
http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/Ford_leveling_kits.htm
has a few listings for venders that have leveling kits for your truck. Though as it says you might have to replace the alignment shims if you lift it and then align in of course.

Thanks for the comments on my truck, I guess since I grew up in California I still have that slight desire for the Escalade on 24's. So trying to keep some 'class' with the truck but with an off road aggressive capability. Meh, that's the goal anyway, but I believe I am done with exterior work. Now it's engine time.

Thanks for the compliments.

If I remember right the hood was right around $400. I got it from TruckPerfromance.com. It is a Reflexxion.

The lightbar was made by "Steelhorse Truck Outfitters" and the KC lights I bought at "4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers".

I swapped the wheels to a set of 15 x 10 Rock Crawlers that I had, but the tires and wheels are being changed
again to 15 x 12's and 37 x 14 IROK's soon.

I added the blk carbon fiber tail lights, clear diamond euro head lights and a cb for hunting (Galaxy dx-88 320
channel am, fm, ssb + a Palomar 450w amp w/102" whip that hits everything).

I'm going to have the truck painted in Dec and it will be done.

Black cat underneath is my good luck charm
