Nothing is wrong with the front axle. It actually worked pretty good this past weekend when I was driving in the snow from Knoxville to Nashville (first time 4wd was used in 14 yrs on the truck LOL). Just looking at possibly upgrading the hubs in order to get more readily available parts since I have the flange style. Would like to go with Mile Marker hubs for the price but not sure if they would work with the axle (11/87 build date) plus I need to re-pack the hubs and check the bearings since I had the RF axle/ hub not want to disngage after I got out of the snow
