Tires on a 94 4x4

What are the biggest tires I can go with without lifting my truck?
I currently have 31 x 10.50 x 15's on it.

33x12.5 will fit if you space the bumper forward with washers or trim the rear edge with a sawzall. 35s require a lift.

Right now I have 31 x 10.50s on it. Sometimes it feels like the front tires hit the bumperwhen going over a ditch or dip...
I'm just concerned that the 33s will never work.

Wait is this 4x4?

If so the 87-96 just need a little under an inch of clearance forward to fit the 33 no problem.

80-86 guys are lucky, no mods needed.

My tires are around 30in and there is plenty of room. If your 31s are hitting something it isnt the bumper

I just bought new 31x10.5 Firestone Destination AT's for my truck. I thought about the 33's, but I thought it was too much tire under my factory lift.

If your truck has over 100,000 on it, Ford recommends putting new front springs on it, I know mine need it, 172,000, just doesn't sit as high as it should. I'm sticking with 31's though.

usedtodrivechev, that is one SHARP truck!!!!!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your posting the picture, too- My 96 is a SC LB Black Eddie Bauer with 265's on it at the moment. I'm going to need new tires, soon, and was leaning hard toward 31 X 10.5's until I saw that picture- now there's no question that I'm going with the 31's! Your truck has, IMHO, the perfect stance for these trucks: tall, but not so tall as to render the bed useless.

Great looking truck!
