351W redline

Hi, I just bought a tach and wondering what I should set the redline at. Its a 93 f150 with a 351W.

I'd say five to be "safe". You should fall on your face around 45oo though so no worries about gettin up that high.

Don't push a stock 351 windsor past 4500 Rpm it will go bye bye...4500 Rpm is a safe place to be...I'm + a stock can pull a lot more than 4500 Rpm but best to stay safe.

Run out of breath. The stock heads aren't known for their RPM potential.

By "redline" do you mean the RPM which you want to shift at when you're flogging it, the RPM which you never want to exceed or the RPM above which things begin to spontaneously self-destruct?

The answer to the first is about 200 RPM above your HP peak, look it up
The second is probably somewhere around 5000-5200 RPM.
The built in rev linmiter should handle the third one.
