Howdy and welcome!

You have a leak that needs addressed ASAP. What year and specs of the truck?

I have a 1990 ford F150 4.9 auto,XLT with front and rear tanks.Looked underneath and its one long tank. This condition started after I filled both ,ran some out of the rear and that leak stopped. The front still leaks some but not as much hopefully if I run enough out that it will stop. ?.Thanks for the come back

Sounds like the filler pipe is cracked or broken where it joins the tank. The filler necks are positioned a little below the top of the tank so you can never completely fill the tank, it leaves room for expansion.

You should get that fixed ASAP, leaking fuel all over the place is never a good idea. Chances are the pipe rusted or rotted out and got a leak.
