Newbie with a 94 2wd XLT that flashes an airbag code 5 then 1 , can someone tell me what it means ? Thanks.....RICH

Had a chart layin around from dealin with my grandfathers 94. His was 27 which was a bad clock spring.

"51: Diagnostic Monitor Internal Thermal Fuse - Blown and Short to Ground No Longer Exists "

Sorry, but I'm not sure what that means.

I've seen a few that just get old and the fuse blows. Best way to check is to jump the thermal fuse inside the monitor. If you do have a short, though, you could blow the bag.
