A/C vacuum question

Hello Everyone,

Quick question, I just started to have this problem. The A/C comes out through the vents normally from idle up to about 40 mph then it start to come out of the defrost vents. Does this mean I have a vacuum problem? Could it be the Check Valve in the engine compartment?

Again, no issue while in idle or under 40 MPH. By the way, it's a 95 F-150 with a 5.0.

TIA!

Welcome to the club!

The white plastic vacuum tube leading to the defroster door motor (near the passenger hood hinge) has a leak. Replace the leaking section with a rubber hose.
