Horsepower Q's

Ok i have a 1994 f-150 5.0 5-speed 4x4.
I want to know mods i can do to get more ponys out of that little engine. all i have is a k&n filter

i was thinking a new throttle body, 3-4" exhaust

any help would be appreciated thanks

Pullies would be cheap and would help. Throttle body would give some more air but I don't think you would notice a difference , not to mention the cost of a new throttle body. Exhaust is a good idea. Throw some headers one. Upgrading the ignition would be a good idea also.

More air in and more air out equals more horsepower. Start with headers and a cat back exhaust. 2.5" exhaust is fine, 3" at the most. 4" is way to big you'll lose torque from the decreased back pressure. We run duel 3" into single 4" exhaust on our 700+ horsepower racecars!

Underdrive pullies will give you a great bang for the buck. The throttle body wont make a difference right now, your stock one is plenty big enough. Read though some of the info on these forums Theres more performance parts available for the 5.0L then almost any other engine made.
