73-79 F-series info...

I'm trying to find as much info as I can on mid 70's trucks... engine/tranny combos, specs, when did they switch to electronic ignition... What options made up a Ranger, XLT, etc... What all changed over those years...

that kinda stuff...

thanks...

I used to have a Hayne's manual but no longer (sold my '79 seven years ago). Otherwise I would have sent it to you. Why not check with Hayne's and see if you can still buy a copy?

I'm sure I can get a repair manual, but they don't usually give all the subtle info, like trim, and such.

I just thought there might be a website that chronicled the F-series trucks or something...

I do need to go pick up a Haynes or Chilton's though...

Here is a good forum for 78-79 broncos...

Sorry I can tell you good sites for every other body style, but I don't have a 73-79 truck, so I never looked.
