LMC Truck catalog has them. www.LMCtruck.com is the website but all you can do from there is order a catalog. It's on page 145 of catalog FD.2:

Part # 47-4471 Dome Lamp Body for F-series 1980-96 List = $33.69 Price = $26.95

Part # 47-4274 Dome Lamp Lens for F-series 1980-96 List = $6.19 Price = $4.95

Part # 47-0235 Bulb for f-series 1980-96 List = $1.19 Price = $0.95

I'd advise getting yourself a catalog. I had to replace my taillights and they were cheaper than anybody I found.

Or you could try your local scavenge yard.....

Hey, adrianspeeder, do you have a good source for parts? Or do you just hunt and pick what you need when you need it? I'm gonna need lots of stuff if I keep my beast cuz she's old enough now to nickle and dime me to death. I've been contemplating trading her in for something that gets more than 11 mpg... I figure, even if I fix her all up and spend thousands of $$$$$$$, she'll STILL only get 11 or 12 mpg! Maybe I could push her to 15 - MAYBE!?

I heard on the radio yesterday that The Lehigh Valley where I currently live has been named to have the highest average cost of fuel in the nation. I find it hard to believe with news of stations in California that are charging close to $4, but they illucidated by saying that other areas have some stations charging more, but the overall average of all stations in the area is the criteria by which they judged it.

Want to buy a truck? She's a beaut!

Cool Speaking of gas mpg

Hey is there anything I can do to get better gas mileage out of this beast besides limiting the 4wd to 2wd when not in the mountains? Does that Turbonater thing work in the 351 2bl 78 motor? And if it does will it help the gas mileage? Any idea where to get a Operators Manual for this truck......

Thanks

Thumbs up

I scored my lens from the local Stealer of all places, it was $6-8 or so... I can't recall if your truck uses Ol' Chromie or not

Here's the best thing I've found yet:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=208724

Actually, if you do a search on the forums, there are dozens of threads about improving MPG. Basically, improve air in, improve exhaust out, headers will help, clean MAS, clean injectors, tune-up, etc. All help a little at a time. But it all adds up.

I use the LMC, JC Whitney, and every few weeks I take a little drive to "The Ford Parts Barn" down in Dover PA. Guy there has EVERYTHING and anything for ford trucks.

Hey what are these black almost coffee can size but just a little smaller for? And if they are some sort of vacum deal, if you had your A/C removed would that leave one of them disconnected like the one right by the battery? Haven't found them in the haynes book anywhere? Whats the best book / manual you can get to tell you what most of whats under the hood is for?

Phhewww alot of questions........ any help would be appreciated.....

Cool Vac Tanks??

Are these part of the heating and cooling system? Or part of the fuel system aka air intake etc? If so any idea where the one right beside the battery is suppose to hook up to? It has 2 fittings but nothing is connected?

It is part of the whole engine vacuum system that does HVAC and engine control. Gonna have to get a manual and trace the lines. Every year seems to be different.
