Resetting Trouble Lights.

What is the procedure for resetting the warning lights on a 87 Ford F-150. Thanks

Depends on your mileage. If you have less than 75k miles, you can reset it by going to the module under the instrument panel, and with the key off, push a nail or pen in the hole that says RESET, and hold it there. While holding it, turn the key on until the light comes on. After the light has been on for 5 seconds or more, release the nail/pen, and the light will go off in a second or two. Turn the key off, then on again. This time the light should light up for a few seconds, and then shut off. If any part of this doesn't solve it, repeat the procedure.

If your truck has over 75k miles, the module needs to be replaced.
