Hi Guys,
I had to replace the passenger side headlight lens/housing the other night, and I removed the battery to access the fasteners.

It was disconnected for about an hour, and when I put the battery back in, the truck shifts all funny now.

Shifts are way early and mushy.
At WOT from the stop light, the 1-2 shift is at 2750 RPM.

I know when the keep alive memory is cleared, sometimes it needs to relearn the shift habits of the driver, but this is terrible.

It was shifting just fine before the battery was removed.

Any help?

F150, 4.9L EFI, E4OD, 3.08 Rear End.

i think you must have hooked the battery up a$$ backwards or somthin
