I have a 92 with a tired 302. I have a flat top 306 with a e303 cam and gt-40p heads on a stand just waiting for me to put it in. I need to know what headers will fit. I know there is no advertised gt-40p header for truck, but I know that something will work. My last resort is to buy mustang "gt-40p" shorties and re pipe the cat back. If at all possible I want to run long tubes.

 

here is the fix, the gt-40p heads have almost straight plugs and will not fit the factory type heads. On most trucks you can use the Mustang gt-40p headers there is little difference. Actually they are a little tighter to the block. you just need to re pipe the pipes going down to your cat forward If thats what you want to call it. I should be getting them on wednesday and ill post pics and results
