rear brake shoes, 96 f150

Is it possible to have the rear brake shoes installed backwards? I know their is one show that has more material on and also has longer material on, then the other shoe. Which goes where? I took my truck tot get the brakes worked on and they must have had a new guy working on it, since it took him 3 hours to get the rear brakes done, and now they lock up whenver I slightly tough the brakes, and was wondering if he has the shoes installed incorrectly. I can't find the info anywhere on what shoe should be toward the front of the vehicle

The shoe with more material on it goes on the rear side of the assembly (the side closest to the rear bumper). Your problem is more than likely that the rear brakes were adjusted too far. It's not a big deal, and is easily and quickly fixed. Just take it back to the shop that replaced the shoes, and tell them what's going on. They'll probably have it back to you in 10 minutes.
