i had a 94 f150 2wd in which the 4x4 light would flicker while driving but i sold the truck now i have a 96 F350 powerstroke 4x4 which is doing the same thing? what does this mean?

 

Does it seem to be a random flickering associated with bumps or is it a steady flashing?? If its just flickering then you could have a wire grounding out, or a bad switch. If it is flashing steady, say once per second, it could indicate that there is a trouble code stored in the computer.
