UH oh

This sucks, i got to use my warn lockouts a week, get drunk, pass out someone tries to drive me home in my truck (this one) and they tear it up, on the back of the drive shaft you have the u joint then that flange that connects to the rear end, stupid fker busted one of the ears off where the u joint goes in on the flange, i also need to get a new u joint.. Oh well, dad thinks i should sell the pre, i wouldn't mind the money but i love that truck, i've put it through hell. BTW its not fixed and i'm driving my new truck that i rebuilt (2000 ford ranger 4x4 ex cab sport with 4.0) i love it

Those flanges break all the time, i've replaced two this year on f-150's, there pretty cheap from the dealer.

I don't remember but i think it was around $20 with my employee discount, probably close to $30 retail. Figure around another $20 for a decent u-joint and about a 1/2 hour to replace the flange and install the new u-joint.
