EGR Valve Replacement Follow Up

Well guys i fixed my egr issue and got rid of the check engine light!Problem was one of my vacum lines wasnt connected at all after fixing it properly (someone Had The End Covered With Tape And a Screw In the end of it)My check engine light hasnt came on not once and the truck seems to be running alot better.I Havent checked for an increase in fuel economy yet but does anyone know how much somethin like this can effect fuel economy?

Thanks For all the tips and info that helped me solve this

No problem Daniel , I had EGR issues with my truck also, it took me two months to figure out that I had a slice in one of my vaccum lines that must of happened when installing my headers.

This can effect fuel econ and power. With any vacum problem especailly and EGR problem it throws off every thing. The computer can read the sensors right so your truck will most likely have fuel mixture problems.
