Well, I spoke with Anita at Troyer Performance (great prices & service!!) yesterday, and ordered a Magnaflow 5x8x18 muffler, along with a 3.5" slash cut tip. I've also got a Walker manifold down pipe on order from Advance Auto. My stock manifold pipe is leaking, and the Walker pipe isn't all that spendy ($62 delivered), plus it gets rid of the "pre-cat".

This will be replacing my current 3" Flowmaster Delta 50 setup. I'm gonna have 2.5" pipe installed (since the end of the Walker pipe is 2.5") back to the muffler, and 2.5" tail pipe, exit in the stock location. Its gonna be a seamless, smooth straight-through flow the whole way back. I can't wait to get it put on!!

 

Cool, I have that 5x11x22 Magnaflow it's pretty quiet...postup on how it compares to that Flowmaster. I chunked my 50 Series for that Magnaflow and am considering getting that 5x8x18 case one.

 

Ok, so I got my muffler & tip a couple days ago, and I've got an appointment for Monday morning to have everything put on. I'll make sure an give a report on the performance & sound.
