Also, I havn't talked to my dad about it yet, but i would probably put my grill in it, wheels and tires.. things like that.. But, the thing is, i have $5300 sitting in my savings account i've been stashing away, so hopefully it will fly....

Ditch the running boards, 6 inches of suspension and 35s.

Good idea, but i gotta pay it off first, plus i have many things to do to it first off. List of mods to do, must get it first(the truck)

Pay it off

Bed rug and Fiberglass Tonneau cover

Running boards like on ex cab eddie bauer truck, fiberglass ones

Dual exhaust, Dynomax headers, offroad h pipe, dual flows, and chrome tips, exiting at the bed corners

Maybe a roll pan

Last, Maybe, 3"body lift and 33''s

Just remember, i have to get it first.. Am also going to switch wheels and tires on the trucks.

That offer ($5300) is very reasonable, don't let them BS you. Good Luck

I think 7995 is a bit high... I talk 'em down to at least 7 flat.
Other than that its a pretty nice truck... I'd go over the whole thing tho. Check the engine oil, tranny, see how it runs, front-end components, pull a plug and check it out. Definitely CAN those sliders... other than that

(I think the lift & tires should be on the TOP of the list)

Start off as low as you can! You can never go lower if he says "Alright, deal!" Then you would feel like crap for awhile. Don't EVER worry about insulting a car dealer with an offer..EVER (well, unless you're buying a Diablo and offer them $4000)

That's the whole premise of the deal/negotiation part. Be nit picky, allow room to bargain as in, check the tires, will you have to replace them in the near future? Check for odd smells, leaks, etc. Any cosmetic errors that need fixing on the interior, exhaust is a biggy, especially on a 10 year old vehicle, find what you can and use it. If that was a traded in vehicle, I know, I am very very sure he didn't give the guy more than $3500 for it.

Well I didn't get it, it had some major damage to the roof, and some scuffs, got a better deal on a newer less mileage vehicle. Plus the short stubby ****er was an *** hole.
