Question Need help with Wiring

Does anyone know where I can find the Tach wire on my 1990 Ford F-150?? I am 95% complete with my remote start installation, but I can't find a good wire to use for the Tach. The install directions I have say that there should be a Dark Green w/Yellow wire at the coil. I see 2 wires at the coil and one is a Tan or Yellow color and the other is Red with Green. I also tried to use a multimeter to find out which wire had less than 6 volts, but both of them were over 12V. I even tried to get a signal from one of the injector wires, but both those wires measure over 12V too.

Please help.....................

The injectors will always have 12 volts available to them, the ecm provides the ground to complete the circuit. I don't remembetr exactly which coil wire you need to use but i will take i look at my truck tommorrow and see what wire i hooked the tach pickup to.

The signal for the tach is not the red wire, so in your case, it's the tan or yellow wire.
