Angry pwer steering gearbox

Leakin like a sieve Have to top it off every other day. Cardone remanufactured with lifetime warranty $169 here. $189 core charge can you believe that, guess I'll take it off first. The swap looks fairly straight forward, anybody got any tips or done this job before? Sure could use some advise before I start into it. Will I have to get a front end alignment afterward? Thanks for any help.

Where's it leaking from?? If it's the output shaft seal thats leaking those are pretty easy to change and it probably would only cost you about $5 for the seal.

It
s leaking around the splined shaft that comes out the bottom and ties into the steering, I think that is called the pitman arm, not sure though. How difficult is it to get the arm off and replace the seal, will I have to remove the unit to replace the seal or can it be done without removing.
