Modified Air Intake question
What's a good place to look for an aftermarket air intake, and approximately what $$$'s am I looking at? Also, is there anything I can do with my factory intake to get increased performance? A buddy of mine told me I should just take the intake tube off of the airbox for better airflow. ( Not the one from the airbox to the throttle body, obviously ) Something about that just didn't seem right, though. So is he onto something or on something?
or you can make your own K&N FIPK. its not hard if youve got some time and some ingenuity. just buy the filter that comes wth the FIPK for our trucks (about $40) and make the adapters yourself.
