Upgrade 1984 F150 300 six
I purchased a 1984 F150 with a recently rebuilt six motor. Does anyone have an idea what I can economically do to improve
the performance? I have a four speed manual transmission and the overdrive gear is frequently not useable because of hills, etc.

All the usual modifications will work, K&N filter, cat back exhaust. If you want to get more into it try www.cliffordperformance.com They specialize in I6 performance parts.
