well , got the motor out last night all went pretty smoothly . no major problems . had it out right on the expected/estimated time.
gonna head out there this morning and start cleaning/swapping parts onto the long block and get it ready to go back in .

well another 3.5 hours this morning (too hot out now ) and almost everything back on new motor . still got valve covers & flywheel to put back on and then ready to stuff it back in . going to head back up later when it has cooled off some and try to get her back in tonight , then it'll be just a matter of finishing it up and getting her started and tuned tomorrow .

Well , it is done . just drove her home . she is a little sluggish yet at highway speeds . i think i got the distibutor off slightly as i cant turn it far enuf to get it to where it needs to be to run better , but it runs good how it is . maybe just needs to work itself out some . i dont know if it was the loss of power in my old motor or if it is the fact it is a new motor or bored .040 over but in the SOTP ometer tells me it has alot more power . :-)
