1.7 roller rockers

Some of you were wondering how big of a difference 1.7 roller rockers would make. I finally installed them thursday night in my other truck. The truck runs great, still idles good. The powerband on my truck is 3500-5000 rpm. Below the powerband i don't notice any difference. When you hit the powerband it definitly seems to have more power. The tach moves a lot faster than it used to so i know i've gained quite a bit of acceleration. The bottom line is that they are worth the money but they won't give you as much power as installing a high lift/high duration cam, but it is a lot easier. Crower said they take 3 hours to install, i did them in 1 hour 15 minutes. They only thing you need to buy in addition to the rockers and studs themselves is a set of valve cover gaskets ($16 at autozone for Fel-Pro's).
