I am told it is 20 times stronger than factory painted units. But for $50.00, I can afford to have it coated a different color every month!

you will be very happy. if they done a god job you probably wont have to ever do it again. powdercoating is pretty durable. i have a buddy who used to do coating for a living and we used to always get dirt bike and 4wheeler parts done and it always held up great.
Pete95XL,
The old dented bumper was chrome, the replacement was a factory painted unit (Grey). The guys at the shop said they could do the rear chrome bumper as well, they sand blast everything they coat to remove any paint, rust, factory coatings, etc. They said it takes longer to remove chrome, but it can be blasted off. It adds about 15.00 dollars extra to the price. The colors and textures are endless.
I love it. It makes it look tough! He said he could Powder the entire bed. I was tempted.....
They removed all of the bolts and plates and coated each little part and wrapped each piece in paper to protect it.
