hey fellas. im sure you all know my story; im swapping my 4 speed manual to a 5 speed. i have an 89 f 150 with a 300 engine. i know i need new driveshafts. but my question is about the transfer case. right now, i have the borg warner manual shift 1345. i really think i need the manual shift 1356. me and my dad have been talking about this and the question is: did ford use the 1345 and the 1356 transfer cases with the 5 speed manual tranny? i dont want to have to go buy another transfer case and more new driveshafts if i can avoid it. i wasnt to know if i can use the existing transfer case with the driveshafts i purchased. i purchased the shafts from a guy who said that they were on a truck with the 1345 and the 5 speed manual. if you can help me put, please let me know. as always, your help is appriciated. thanks again, john
