Question window question

Hi
I am looking at a 1990 f150 lariat king Cab truck.
It has 104.00 thousand miles And is Clean and straight, the power windows do not work you can hear the windoe motors run but they do not move up or down.
the motor is a 5.0 and has a aod trans tilt cruise power locks.
the asking price is 3,200 I may be able to get it for a little less.
Is this a good price Any ideas on the window trouble.
Please help

GIL

I havent looked at one of these trucks window motors yet, but if its like my 1990 Tbird, inside the motor are some little rubber puck type things that will wear out eventually. I think they are maybe some sort of safety thing, but the ones on my tbird just rotted away. I took the small cover off of the motor and found that a 7/16ths nut fit in the slots perfect. Its kind of crude, but it worked.

Yeah, those little plastic "pucks" go in them. I replaced my motors with motors from a 91 Explorer and they work better than they have since I got the truck. Its a '92 Flareside.
