M5OD help!

I'm trying to install a hurst shifter, I removed my stock shifter but left it in reverse.
I installed the hurst shifter but couldn't get it out of reverse, so I installed the stock one back in and I still can't get it out of reverse, the stick feels like it's in neutral, like I can move it from right to left, I've tried pushing on it forward with all my might and it doesn't get out of reverse.

Any help anyone?

It shifted like a dream before.

Just took it for a test drive and WOW!

Shift's just like my old bug, nice short and sweet, it feels so much more firm then stock, big difference! Like a sports car.
I'll have pic's tomorrow it was to dark when I finished.

Awesome... don't get into any trouble testing out yer new mod now. I tend to have a heavier foot when new things are added to my truck.
