Thumbs up Finally Gonna Do It

Well I built my engine 30k miles ago and ever since my rear main oil seal has leaked, really pissed me off. I spent a lot on the bottom end, all new, balanced, heads ported, everything I could practically afford and the freakin thing leaks oil
I bought a new seal today and a crank shaft repair sleeve incase I have a scratch or gouge on the sealin surface of the crank. Plannin on droppin the tranny, transfer case, both shafts mon, that outta be fun
Anybody done this before or have any good advise on doin it right the first time? sure as hell don't wanna do it again

Take your time. Look into what you are doing next. Get a look at the crank, my Mustang had a groove worn in it from the seal. When putting in the new seal I just positioned the seal forward (or was it aft?) of the groove so the new seal wasn't sitting in the groove. If they're(crank-to-seal surface) damaged at all they are supposed to be machined down and a different size seal is supposed to be used, I didn't do that. Right or wrong it worked for me.
Just dig in, You'll be proud of youself once its fixed!
