Angry Sunuva..........

Stupid freakin....... AAAaaaaaaaah! Sorry had to vent. Well I fill up both of my tanks, and the back one works fine, well the front one, shows its empty, and the mother, fker is full! What in hubs hell!

your sending unit is probably stuck or bad, have fun I just changed mine, wasn't to bad.

Drive it around on that tank till it sputters then switch tanks. Easier to pull an empty tank.

i think it was like $30 at Napa...it's a cheap lil POS anyways, I changed my front fuel pump last week and found out my sending unit was bad at the same time.
You ask how I found out it was bad? Because my gauge said it was empty but as soon as I undid the last bolt of the tank I thought was empty...well i wasn't too happy

hope you weren't underneath it! i have to change my rear tank this summer. has a hole in it. i'm just going to put i a junkyard tank and change the pump and sending unit while it's out. may as well rather than having to drop it again!

These '92-'96 Fseries trucks evedentally suffer from multiple problems centered around the fuel guage,switch,sending units,pumps,tanks and everything, is there any common thread that causes this trouble that can be watched out for?? my newly aquired '94 F150 has dual tanks, and I'm just waiting for trouble now.
I remember my old '78 F150 had just one part that I replaced in over 200k miles/20 years of use and it was a cheap solinoyd/selector valve which I bought from a local parts store.

the gas gauge in my 85 when it hits 1/2 a tank, it immediately drops down to empty. never got it fixed. just fill er up every few days and its fine
