I got a new tumbler for my truck a month ago cause the key broke in it....Got a new one....All of a sudden my truck wouldn't turn on last night.

I figured that MAYBE it was the new alarm's starter kill....took out the alarm at 1:30AM in the morning in really cold weather and found out it wasn't it.....

I could hear the starter make a click as it was engaged....I can get the truck to the on position....

I thought, what the hell. Lets try to boost it at 2:00 AM...Didn't work.

Call the tow truck...They come at 3:30 AM tow it to the nearest Ford dealer.

Fortunatly I was at my girlfriends house and she was able to drive me home...unfortunatly....she live like 30 min away at an average speed of 55MPH.

Got home around 4 AM ish..... Got up for work at 7ish... Called the Ford dealer that the truck was delivered to and they were closed for boxing day.. damn that sucks. Now I have to take a day off of work and get this damn thing fixed.

Good times. haha!


Anyone know if different dealers warranty work that another dealer did?? Is there like a Ford national warranty if something breaks?

it was just the starter anyways. the truck is back on the road.
