I was upset

Last night my truck started to make some horrible screaching sounds from underneath, I thought it was the mufflers rubbing on the drive shaft. I looked at everything and me and my dad came to the conclusion that it was the U-Joints. Well we replaced both of them on the rear part of the drive shaft, the one that goes form the tranny to that one will be another project for another day. Well I bought the Heavy Duty joints for like $13.99 a piece, and I am happy, no more noise, no nothing I love it. I cant tell yall how upset I was when my truck was out of comission, is anyone else like this with their trucks? I mean thats all Icould think about the whole night LOL Until of course I found out that it was an easy fix

beastie, while you under there did you take a good look at the carrier bearing? I don't know if you have a long or short bed, but if it's the long bed check it out. Don't want that puppy to go bad while driving down the street either. Glad you got it fixed and Happy Hoildays.
