I wish that you were right but unfortunately you're not. Just consider all the shows about the Hollywood crowd such as Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Hollywood Tonight, the people that are constantly featured on the talk shows such Jay Leno, The View, Saturday Night Live etc etc. And it's not just the talk shows, you can't watch a news program on any channel that doesn't include at least one report on the latest Hollywood scandal, marriage, divorce, drunk driving arrest, etc etc etc. Most Americans say that they don't worship the Hollywood celebs but they certainly follow them closely and listen to everything that they have to say, no matter how inane!

I also thoroughly enjoy the way the majority of you here talk in terms of 2 teams.
Constantly, right vs left. "leftist" this, "leftist" that.. bla bla bla.. this is one of the major problems but most of you cannot help yourselves.
It really blows my mind how eager the majority of USAmericans are to join a team.

i hate the liberal hollywood types telling us their views. they are entertainers, thats it. who cares what they say. they need to spend more time worrying about their druge dependencies and dui's than politics.
the only way to shut them up is to not buy their music or see their movies. if there is a star that one agrees with like hank williams junior or the zac brown band let em know about it.
