Saw THis, Wonder if It's Correct

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT!

Fox news recently ran an article discussing the beneficiaries of Obama's decision to kill the Keystone XL. In the absence of the pipeline, two railroads -- the Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Canadian Pacific -- are currently hauling nearly all of the oil from the sands of Canada and the Bakken formation in North Dakota.

The two railroads also happen to be owned by two good friends and frequent investment partners, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. Additionally, each railroad has contracted for thousands of new tanker cars to haul the oil. The maker of these tankers in the United States is Marmon Industries, a company also owned by Warren Buffett. The Canadian subsidiary of Marmon that is manufacturing tankers for the Canadian Pacific is owned by...you guessed it...Bill Gates.

The reason Politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that
they would "hate" to have to make a living under the laws
they've passed.

By definition a subsidiary is owned by the parent company, so the subsidiary of Marmon is owned by Marmon. With that said Marmon and BNSF are both subsidiaries of Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet's company). I would have no doubts that Bill Gates is an investor in Berkshire. I couldn't find too much information on Canadian Pacific, but i didn't look too hard.

I laugh at Obama, I think this would have benefited us nicely. Seems that Buffet and Gates have taken it into their own hands for the time being.

There is NO WAY that that is correct! Those are big corporations.......and Obama HATES big corporations. Plus if it was true then they could make alot of money. And he is against that too.

Am I right, or am I right?

If this is true, Berkshire Hathaway could make some money and pay the back taxes the company still owes.

Wow, and making money to pay back taxes, means they would have taxable profit in 2012, which means they would have to pay more taxes than they did for the years they are scoff laws on.

Would this mean that 'Ol Warren's secratary is in for a big tax hike too? She pays more than him, so this could be bad news for her.

Unfortunately she does not make more than the 60K gross regardless of what the company makes.

She was happy to announce that if the Buffett rule was implemented she looked forward to buying a new typewritter ribbon and a set of ear plugs.

- I can't believe that people fall for this crap, makes 60K in NE, and cannot buy a new typewriter ribbon.

The other big pay off is for Soros. He is in deep with Petrobras in Brazil. Canadian oil is closer and a great big pipe would make transport costs very little compared to shipping it up from South America. This administration is all about the Chicago style deals.

Add to the mix, Canadian flats oil is ~ 75.00 / barrel vs ~ 103.00 for WTI and Brent @ ~ 120.00 / barrel.

Do not recall the yield for each type to know the impact at the pump.

I was born in Joliet and still have a ton of family up there. I don't need to be reminded about how crooked they are.

Yes it is, and still the majority of the people in the US voted for him.

Chicago politics style, they still don't see what he is doing is wrong. Then again a lot of people do not recall a single thing from civics or econ class from HS.

Looks as though those youngins' will not be paying attention this time around. Polls show the brainwashed college crowd is bored with politics already, hope so, we need to get back to being a conservative country.
