Blatant attempt to get the women's vote by portraying Repubs as anti-women.
FWIW, I was flipping channels the other day, and saw a panel on the Ed Shultz show. Members including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chair. They had a emblem on the bottom of the screen during the segment, showing a GOP elephant trampling on the women's symbol.
The theme of the debate was basically that Repubs want to roll back women's civil rights, and that if Romney is in the White House, he will turn women into 2nd and 3rd class citizens.
Hard to believe anyone would fall for this tripe, but I guess it works on some of the simple minds.

I've heard many commentators and pundits claim that women are too smart to fall for this tactic. Where have they been hiding since women's suffrage?

Yahoo! had an article this morning about a new poll that shows Obama has a HUGE 19 point advantage over Romney among women. Men favor Romney by 8%.

In the absence of the pipeline, two railroads -- the Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Canadian Pacific -- are currently hauling nearly all of the oil from the sands of Canada and the Bakken formation in North Dakota.
The two railroads also happen to be owned by two good friends and frequent investment partners, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. Additionally, each railroad has contracted for thousands of new tanker cars to haul the oil. The maker of these tankers in the United States is Marmon Industries, a company also owned by Warren Buffett. The Canadian subsidiary of Marmon that is manufacturing tankers for the Canadian Pacific is owned by...you guessed it...Bill Gates.
