GREAT !!! I can only hope that the propaganda machine does not suck them back into the fold come fall.
'The Machine' in Chicago has a way of making sure everyone is paying attention come election time.
Then again, the dead even pay attention to who to vote for in Chicago..

One of the current attention getting scams is the Dem's claim that the Republicans are waging a 'War on Women'.

Blatant attempt to get the women's vote by portraying Repubs as anti-women.

FWIW, I was flipping channels the other day, and saw a panel on the Ed Shultz show. Members including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chair. They had a emblem on the bottom of the screen during the segment, showing a GOP elephant trampling on the women's symbol.

The theme of the debate was basically that Repubs want to roll back women's civil rights, and that if Romney is in the White House, he will turn women into 2nd and 3rd class citizens.

Hard to believe anyone would fall for this tripe, but I guess it works on some of the simple minds.

In current polls obummer tracks very well with unmarried women. They are playing to a strong point and trying to shore up their support.

For thousands of years propaganda has worked wonders.

Jimmy Swaggart proved this in spades.

Sadly this is working for my little sister. She is so confused she thinks that the government not mandating health insurance providing her birth control means they are interfering with her ability to do what ever she wants with her body. I tried to explain to her that she is still free to do whatever she wants with her body and it doesn't matter what the government mandates as far as birth control.

I hate quoting myself so I won't, but on the same topic as my last post, when did safe sex go from meaning taking actions to prevent you from getting a STD to prevent you from getting pregnant? Damn I'm getting old.

Got me...

when HIV came to the front in the 80s it was a death sentence, now I guess it is viewed the same as Herpes ???
Just a pontification on my part, I am too old to be used as a data point in this discussion.

I've heard many commentators and pundits claim that women are too smart to fall for this tactic. Where have they been hiding since women's suffrage?

Yahoo! had an article this morning about a new poll that shows Obama has a HUGE 19 point advantage over Romney among women. Men favor Romney by 8%.

http://news.yahoo.com/romney-solidif...-politics.html

On 'Women's Issues' Obama leads among women by 27%.

Looks like the myth of a Republican 'War On Women' is working just fine for the Dems, and may well be the (manufactured) 'issue' that gets Obama re-elected.

The part of that poll you have to remember is more women are Dems than Republican.

Just another loaded poll to make the annointed one look good.

The two railroads also happen to be owned by two good friends and frequent investment partners, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. Additionally, each railroad has contracted for thousands of new tanker cars to haul the oil. The maker of these tankers in the United States is Marmon Industries, a company also owned by Warren Buffett. The Canadian subsidiary of Marmon that is manufacturing tankers for the Canadian Pacific is owned by...you guessed it...Bill Gates.

The reason Politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that
they would "hate" to have to make a living under the laws
they've passed.
To get back on track here. I heard a piece on the radio today and it seems that this is correct. Buffet and Obama in this neck deep. Plus there is more to it than this article states.

This clown has got to be voted out in November.......if the country can make that long.
