Yomma is screwing the taxpayer again!

WASHINGTON (WLS) - The Energy Department on Wednesday approved two loan guarantees worth more than $1 billion for solar energy projects in Nevada and Arizona, two days before the expiration date of a program that has become a rallying cry for Republican critics of the Obama administration's green energy program.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the department has completed a $737 million loan guarantee to Tonopah Solar Energy for a 110 megawatt solar tower on federal land near Tonopah, Nev., and a $337 million guarantee for Mesquite Solar 1 to develop a 150 megawatt solar plant near Phoenix.

The loans were approved under the same program that paid for a $528 million loan to Solyndra Inc., a California solar panel maker that went bankrupt after receiving the money and laid off 1,100 workers. Solyndra is under investigation by the FBI and is the focal point of House hearings on the program.
What would ya say if you knew that the brother in law to Nancy Pelosi was on the Board of Directors to the Tonopah project? What would you say if you knew that one of the Board members on the Mesquite Project was also on the Enron Board of Directors? Well, it's true folks. I guess you can kiss another billion ($1,000,000,000.00) of your dollars bye-bye. Would you like to guess how many jobs this is going to create and what the cost per job is going to cost me and you? Helpful hint, it's far less than 500 jobs, far less.

So called green energy is only measured in greenbacks... right from the paychecks of every American taxpayer. Washington has cashed in the wealth of the past and spent our future at the same time.

I see you are taking reporting lessons from MSNBC yet again.

Pacific Corporate Group is a VC company that will provide funding to start ups.

Ron Pelosi is on the Board of Trustees @ PCG, an investment company that backed Solar Reserve the the owner of Tonopah Solar Energy ( the projects are subsidiaries ).

It is not uncommon for a VC to have someone on the board of directors of a company they have put several 10's of millions into, and the PCG person at Solar Reserve ( not the Tonopah project, it does not have a board of directors ) is Jasandra Nyker, not Ron Pelosi.

Are you sure about this ???
Might want to back track from Sempra Generation ( the owner of the subsidiary of the Mesquite Solar 1 project. ).

No it is not.

5 min with Google would tell you your chain email was full of fabrications, and no fact checking.
I went to look, to see if Chicago Politics had been implemented this fully, this is something that scares me. Found it is not really like you tell it.

This is part of ARRP in 2009, you are double counting it here.
This is part of the $ 25B that the DOE had for investments, same pile of money that funded the JCI battery plant in MI.

Exactly. And they live like kings while being our "representatives".
