Im all for changing the tax code and all but it will be hard to replace the current tax code with another is all Im saying.

Just like the national health care 15-20 years ago was a miserable failure but ultimately succeeded (hopefully just before it is declared unconstitutional), I think we will be getting a new tax code. The more the mainstream political leaders start to talk about it the more traction it will receive eventually leading to the new code. It might just take a very long time to get enough traction to go anywhere. I think the Tea Party type representatives are more open to this type of tax scheme, since it does make everyone have skin in the game and it is much harder to mess with the system to hide the fact that the "rich" are being screwed again.
