The Rioting In England

This seems pure "thuggery" to me. There is no "cause", no moral wrongs that the rioters are "setting right". They are victimizing their fellow citizens, just for the chance to rob them of a few paltry goods, or, to destroy anyone who has worked hard to achieve something in life.

I'm going on record here. I think any of these rioters/looters should be shot on sight. They are not members of the human race. I don't care how old they are, or what their background is. Give the police real bullets and "weapons free".

It's horrible what is going on there. No doubt there are many hardworking men and women who have suffered tremendous losses to these thugs. Hard to get a grip on the scale of the problem. Makes you wonder if something similar could ever happen here?

FWIW, rubber bullets and water cannons appear to be considered excessive force in 21st Century England, so I don't see them ever using anything more extreme than that.

It seems to me the lazy pro socialists are creating a big anti wealthy movement with violence. I've heard on a few news reports where protesters have said 'we can do what we want'.

There is no cure for stupid.

Dirt bike - I DO think something similar could happen here. It already has. Think of the Los Angeles riots. And, I think when it does, the police need to be given the freedom to react in full force. When I said, "weapons free", I was not just talking for affect. I meant what I said.

Yes, people will die - but most that do probably deserved that.

The cure, Steath, is to show them, "they can't do what they want".

I had a cat that got sick. Instead of letting it suffer I took it to the vet and had it put to sleep. Some people would have let the cat suffer.

I did the same thing, Silver. I was with her when she died.

When the same riots happen here in a few years, the same sentence will apply.

Its a shame to see where I was born being ruined by a bunch of *******. Its nothing more than those that "don't have" taking from those that "do" because they think they are entitled to it.

No argument from me, harley. I would say the same if the same kinds of riots were occurring anywhere in the U.S.
