Recommendations for Holsters?

The great state of WI is finally close to passing concealed carry legislation.

I am anxious to take advantage of it, but having only lived in the two states that hadn't allowed CC, I have no idea about anything in terms of holsters, etc.

If you're wanting custom leather, give this man a try: http://www.rgrizzleleather.com/index.html

His holsters are works of art.

You need to decide first though how you are going to carry. Inside a pocket, inside your waist, outside your waist, etc. Then decide if you want leather, kydex, etc.

IMO, leather is going to be the most comfortable.

It depends on your type and size of CC gun, and your normal state of dress. I carry an M&P 9mm with the 4.25 barrel. I have just 2 holsters. My main one is an IWB cause I wear most of my shirts outside, and this hides it well. The other is a short leather belt style for when I would wear a jacket most of the time. Trial and error is the best way to find what works for you. I never thought that I could like an IWB, but it is now my favorite way to carry.

As soon as I have the funds I am ordering a Crossbreed for my Ruger LCP and a shoulder rig for my full size 1911. I am just hoping that it includes reciprocity with Michigan because I hate going the long way to camp to avoid WI when I am carrying.
