Hey guys new to the forum just picked up a 1997 F150 XLT for a real good price, reason being well the guy let the truck sit for awhile and coolant got into #1 piston he went to fire it up and the connected rod jambed and bent and a piece of the piston is missing lol, the cylinder wall is fine though the motor didn't even get a full crank.

So anyways now I am looking for a piston connecting rod and a bearing for a 4.2L V6, I would go new but thought I would check around the web first and plus I would prefer used because then it's already heat treated and what not from running.

The truck only has 140,000km's

Let me know guys this is the only thing stopping me from driving this thing !
