SCT Tuner chip power programmer

This exact tuner and dyno tuned file for sale

http://www.sctflash.com/products.php?PID=1&VID=457

My truck is a 2010 5.4l with K&N FIPK the tune was done by these guys http://performance-dyno.com/ and made like a 48HP peak gain. Of course the peak as we all know was the greatest jump across the whole line... The truck runs like a raped ape with the tune installed but I am towing all the time and I am getting sick of putting it back to stock, so stock she will stay.

The tuner was $400 and the tune was $200 I will sell for $450 Shipped in the lower 48.

Well, if it's custom what were you looking to achieve and what were the results?

And that was different than the tune that came standard with the tuner or the original truck tune?

Stock the truck doesn't accelerate well, the truck won't go WOT off idle, have to be north of like 4500rpm to get like 90% throttle. There is a HUGE delay in the throttle with the stock program that makes merging sometimes pretty scary.

The tuner doesn't come with a program, it comes blank.

Thanks, that's much more helpful.

Which transmission do you have? I'm just concerned your year of vehicle and custom tune won't match. Any way to confirm? Is this unlocked? Sorry for all the Q's...

No problem. Not locked... I returned my truck to stock. I read this on a website, read the last line:

"In all, the programmer can store up to 3 custom tunes programmed by SCT dealers. Of note, you can only use the tuner on one vehicle at a time. If you want to use it on another vehicle, you'll have to return your existing vehicle to stock using the hand held programmer. Then you can proceed to tune another vehicle. Since custom tunes are for a specific vehicle, you should talk to your dealer before installing one of these on your new ride."

I really dont know if it would work right or not... I would have to say no, unless you have the same engine and transmission. My 2010 has the 5.4 and I think it is a 6 speed auto.

Yeah and there is no option to only upload the engine file. Someone will have to have a 2009 or 2010 for this to work. I know it works on a similar truck... tried it on my buddies 2010.

If anyone is local, and interested, I would be more than happy to try the tune to ensure compatibility

Any other truck will have to have the same HEX calibration for their truck to even recognize the tune. Since that is unlikely, all you are selling is the hardware and any canned tunes. Any custom tune will have to start over for the second truck's calibration. Just trying to eliminate confusion.
