Lighted LED door sill plates

Ive seen them for many other vehicles but not for the F150 so a friend and I have created some lighted sill plates for the f150. They are available in Red, White, and Blue color lights. They wire in so that they come on when you open the door and the dome lights come on. They cost around 100$ for a set of all 4 and will fit 2009-present super crew cab trucks. Here are some pictures if I did it right, lol! What do you guys think?

I think that is pretty damn neat. Are you trying to say you are selling them? Or are you just stating how much it cost you to fab them? Either way, very nice!

How involved is the install? Do they come on when you open the doors?

They come on when you open the doors, they wire into the wiring harness under the the plastic kick plate. It just pulls right up. These stick on with 3m sticky tape to the metal sil under the plastic one that says ford and the wire routes under the weather stripping. Im still exploring install options but the way I did mine was drill a small hole in the metal under the weatherstripping and stick the wire through there and fill the hole with silicone so the wire wouldnt rub and get cut. You might be able to just run it under the weatherstripping without drilling the hole but I think it would almost certainly rub through after time and stop working. I would recommend soldering the connections and sealing with liquid tape for a trouble free permanent link, Ive used those plastic tie in connectors that crimp on in the past for wiring jobs but they always fail eventually it seems. I farm and its harvest season so Ive been kinda busy but I plan to explore other install options and take detailed pics of the install when I get time. I realize some people are skittish about drilling holes in their trucks, but I think that really is the best way to do it for a trouble free long lasting solution.

Red white or blue lights are available, I just put blue on mine as I have a black truck and blue dash lights. We are experimenting with painting them black instead of stainless steel

They are not the exact same color, no. I think white would look good on any truck, I think they all look good really.
