Does your factory FX2 emblem have raised lettering? I have spotty luck with the smaller emblems and the larger emblems always turn out much better. If it were me I would try finding a way to secure the larger emblem you have to the front end.

 

No raised lettering, looks identical to the back except it's smaller. I wish I could use the larger emblem, but as you can see, the FX2 grille will not allow it; and I did try before. The grill has a "space" embossed into the grill for the emblem to sit, it just doesn't sit on a flat raised platform.

 

If it isn't raised there isn't anything I can do really. You may need to make a support for it to sit on. I do know its possible as I have sold several regular sized emblems to members with fx2 grilles.

 

You never sold any of the smaller emblems, only the regulars since you started?

I'll gladly pay whatever you need to get me the proper sized front one. I really don't want to "rig" the front grill and emblem.

 

I have sold smaller emblems, but not the "fx2" grille emblems. I'd really rather not do anymore smaller emblems at this point anyways.. I'm about out of the emblems and am going to just stick to custom light tinting once these are all gone. I can understand not wanting to "rig" the emblem. If you do it right there shouldn't be anything wrong with it at all. What I'm trying to get at is it would be a lot more solid setup doing it that way and if it was my truck that's what I would do.
