did you have a seat life on that tw5 setup? I am not much for JL products but if the price is right and it's saving me from having to make a box and all I have to do is throw her under the seat then I might consider. How is the output is my real question. I am pretty picky when it comes to woofers. Pure SQL is what I am after. If it can rattle my brain around and still sound good doing it then I might be interested. What kind of vehicle are you switching to?

 

No seat lift required. It's not going to have the same output as a couple 12" woofers or 15" woofers but it does have a lot of output and sounds good doing it. I was running it with a 500/1v2 and for my front stage I was running an Image Dynamics CTX65CS component system in sealed/deadened front doors with a 300/4v2. It wasn't a very high-powered system but the sub easily out-played the front stage. It struggles a bit with super low beats but sounds great on everything else. The only other shallow sub I would consider to be any better would be an SI BM and that's based purely on reviews of BM owners since I've never heard one for myself.

I moved into a 2010 FX4.

I can get pics and dimensions of the sub box when I get back home either Sunday or Monday. It fits perfectly under the driver side of the rear seat and is black carpet. It's about a year old.

 

I'm an audio head man. Like i said earlier I don't mess around with mainstream equipment I was just thinking about swooping up your setup if I could get it for a good deal just as a temporary set up until I get my 4 12's back up and going.
