post it in the for sale forum. it can be sold, but will cost $75 for the future owner to have it unlocked for their use.

 

$75? So I have to take $75 less for it? This sucks. The dealer sold my truck the next day!!

 

well, edge costs around $125 from what I have heard, but there are others on here who will do it for $75. that does suck tho. you should be able to sell for atleast $200.

It's going to suck for him if the dealer ever flashes the pcm. Sure enough he'll be on here in awhile saying Ford did something and his truck is slow.

 

Why not try?

He's got a potential problem if his PCM ever needs to be reflashed from what I read before. Unless it was stock, the reflash will not work and it will render it inoperable (if what I read was right - Thumper, I think you said this)?

The dealer MAY tell you who bought your truck. Personally, if I were the buyer, I'd like to be able to talk to the previous owner, who knows all the little burps and giggles in the thing.
