Yeah man, the real thing that will aid you here is a limited slip/locker. I mean an open differential is horrible thing to have in a truck, I as well got stuck in wet grass in the yard but it was an weird angle slop with a trailer on back. whatever.

Anywho I cant tell ya how many times I rode through trails and mud with my last 4wd truck and its limited slip, and I never ever used 4wd unless I was about to hit a slicky deep mud hole or go up a steep hill in 4Lo. It was fun as well, and with it having 35 inch mud terrains the limited slip supplied great traction that I never witnessed being stuck in 2wd. Food for thought. I need one in this truck.
