might put the truck in mud drags
I was thinking of entering in the mud drags around here where I live in the pro stock, up to 6 inch lift and 36s, minor engine mods...questions 4wd high or 4wd low for the mud pit? also how should I go about keeping the mud off the air filter and engine, its pretty sloppy...

I'd run in 4-High in 1st gear... You want those BFG M/T's spinning as fast as you can to clean them out and you want as much speed/momentum as possible. 4-Low in 1st will be way too slow and you don't need the added torque just for mudding, especially since you have 35's (nothing crazy like 40's) and you're not pulling out a buddy stuck in his fullsize... Hit it hard and fast.
All the guys I know air-down all 4 tires... That's interesting 77mud, I've never heard that before, we'll have to try it!
If you have a CAI, buy a water proof Outerwears cover/sock for it. It'd also be a good idea to buy some black vinyl and extend the inner fender wall down some to help keep mud/water for splashing in, especially on the drivers side.
If it's a real wet pit, with a lot of deep standing water it might be a good idea to extend your breather hoses for you diffs, t-case, and tranny.
